Sigma Home Warranty

A home service contract is not your homeowner's insurance policy. It's a separate contract covering repairs on systems and applicances in your home.

How a home warranty works

Sigma Home Warranty is a renewable yearly service contract that protects a home’s systems and appliances from unexpected repair or replacement costs due to a break down. When a covered item breaks, We will send a pre-screened service contractor to your home to diagnose and repair or replace the item. It’s that easy!

Home warranties generally cover systems such as heating, air conditioning, and plumbing, and appliances like dishwashers, ovens, clothes washers/dryers, refrigerators, and more. Homeowners insurance does not typically cover for mechanical failures, so a home warranty can help bridge the gap. We’ve got you covered.

Requesting Service - How it Works

When a covered item breaks, you can request service online or by phone — day and night.

We send a verified service pro

One of our service contractors will contact you to schedule an appointment. Pay your Trade Call Fee (TCF) – a fixed diagnosis fee based on your selected plan – and we’ll send a licensed, professional technician.
Our qualified local contractor will diagnose your covered item and offer a solution to repair or replace it.

Why do I need a home warranty?

All home systems and appliances will break. American Home Shield is one of the best plans for this inevitability. We help pay for covered repairs, and if your item can’t be fixed, we’ll replace it. It’s a smart way to control costs and save time searching for help.

What does a home warranty cover?

We cover major parts of your heating and cooling, electrical and plumbing systems; kitchen and laundry appliances; as well as roof leak repairs, A/C refrigerant and more — giving you more value and protection than multiple single-appliance warranties.

Is a Home Warranty Worth It?

The out-of-pocket cost to repair or replace an A/C unit without a home warranty can be up to $3,800. But, with a covered A/C repair from Sigma Home Warranty, you’d only pay Service Call Fee and if it couldn’t be fixed, we’d replace it.
